The problem
Someone being mistreated at a new job in a new country will not read a policy document. The information has to be quick, calm and unmistakable, in the format they are already scrolling.
What I did
- 01
Carried the message in motion graphics rather than a talking head, so it works muted and travels across languages.
- 02
Opened on the viewer's own situation, working far from home, before handing over any information.
- 03
Cut vertical and paced it slow enough to be read, quick enough to be finished.
What it produced
- Distributed through the private portals where newcomers register to track their settlement in Canada, so it reaches people at the moment they need it.
